Dinsdag avond is er een extra sessie met de verkiezing van de 5 winnaars van de tweede InfoTubey award.

Join us on the red carpet as the InfoTubey awards are presented to those organizations or individuals for outstanding YouTube productions. The awards recognize those creating YouTube library-related productions and award the top five productions that demonstrate creativity and innovation in marketing a library or library services or enhancing the library’s value. Check out the winning productions and join your colleagues for refreshments and a good time!

Zaal is driekwart vol, er is een geweldige presentatie van de jury, die in prachtige outfits hier zitten: onze host Bill ‘Info daddy’ Spency kan een aardige show weggeven. (zie alle filmpjes en foto’s)

De Info tubies gaan naar

1. University of Ottawa: race om op tijd in de bibliotheek een laptop te lenen, iets te vinden, uit te lenen en laptop terug te brengen
2. DePauw University Indiana: Visual resource center: (video bleef hangen tijdens presentatie) Dit is de eerste van een serie. Een acteur stelt Google voor, de andere het Visual resource center
3. Monroe county library system Michigan: op tieners gericht filmpje waarom de biblioteek zo kewl is. Tiners zelf vertellen dat voor een deel ‘I loved my library’. Ze hebben die kinderen zelf laten zeggen wat ze van de bieb vonden.
4. QandANBJ.org Gibbsboro, New Jersey. Now your library is open late night too. Maar 30 seconden, maar heel effectief gericht op tieners. Is op TV geweest.
5. Allen county public library Fort Wayne Indiana. Library Zombies.
